In other news: job hunting, apartment hunting, friend kind enough to let me stay with him and his wife for a while, music stuff, art stuff, potential photography stuff (?), new friends, old friends, new music to listen to, driving a lot, and reminding myself that... In the end, all things are tentative and I own nothing.
It's been an interesting past few months... I got a Ninety on my paper for Ancient and Medieval Philosophy, and on top of that the professor actually found it interesting. Hopefully I'll get to talk to him more about it sometime in the near future. Question: should I post the paper here to dA? I've thought about it, but I'm always worried that someone is going to take it and attempt to make it their own through stealing... I know that's a bit over the top and that I probably shouldn't be worried at all because hardly anyone will ever see it anyway, but still. In addition to that question: what category would it go under? It's an essay, but much more reflective than anything. ... Hmmf.
I've been writing a -lot-, doing a lot of thinking, a lot of song-writing. It's strange though, I feel like an artist in a vacuum. Yes, it's true that I create for the sake of self expression and exploration, but there is a degree of exposure that comes with being an artist. Not to say that it should ever devolve into emotional exhibitionism, but it seems that most art requires of the artist at least a small amount of emotional investment, if not a very large amount (as is often the case with me and mine).
Well, I'm rambling now so it's time to stop.
P.S. OH! I was just updating the "Mood" section, got to reading and saw something about the spring play. It went WONDERFULLY! Everyone performed wonderfully, the show was very well received, and the cast had a great time. I'm glad I took the time to be a part of it... Even if, in the end, I'm mostly glad to have met new people... But, no time to digress! I must be off.

Burning Bush was taken at the Valley Of Fire, in Nevada. It is about an hour north of Las Vegas.
I have been very busy since then, and more of my work, including the most recent updates can be viewed at, [link]
